For any operating system, you need to install the correct Matlab Compiler Runtime (MCR) version that you can find at the download page. It is required to use the exact version number, even not a more recent one. Once the MCR is installed, the model must be extracted from its zip archive and can be used with no further installation. Do not change the name of the folder FlowR, and do not remove any file it contains.

There is an installer with the MCR that setups everything correctly.

In a terminal, go to the downloaded and unziped MCR directory (MCR_R2013b_glnxa64_installer) and execute:

sudo ./install

During installation, you can let the default destination /usr/local/MATLAB/MATLAB_Compiler_Runtime.

Then, to launch Flow-R, you need to use a terminal. Move to the FlowR directory and enter the following command with your path to the MCR:

./ /usr/local/MATLAB/MATLAB_Compiler_Runtime/v82
